WRICOS 2023-2024

The main purpose of the WRICOS is to promote and share the values and the beauty of cultural diversity, especially in languages across the land and maritime Silk Road areas. Furthermore, the other goals and purposes are to restore our pride in the Silk Roads as a birthplace for civilizations and to enhance mutual understanding as a key medium for the peaceful coexistence and prosperity of all human beings.

WRICOS 2022 has opened the submission by September 30, 2024, and finally, the result is now released. This year, there was one theme for poems: Trees: any subjects related to trees and two themes were made for essays: 1. Trees and People along the Silk Roads, and 2. How is contemporary climate change affecting the physical landscapes and environments along the Silk Roads. We have set the themes not only based on the beauty of the languages but also the consideration of the similarities and uniqueness of the cities on the Silk Road.
