On April 30th (Sat), USSUN members and foreign friends went field trip to Suwon Hwasung.
This trip's keywords are 'Joseon Dynasty' and 'World heritage'.
First, we went to Changryong gate. It is a gate inside Hwaseong fortress. People were flying kites in the empty lot in front of a gate. We also bought a kite with a traditional pattern and flew it.
Next, we experienced Gukgung. We could shoot arrows 10 times per person after the host's explanation.
Then, we went to Suwon Hwaseong museum. There were relics related to Suwon Hwaseong and model exhibitions, video materials. We learned about the construction process of palace in Suwon and Jeongjo's visit to Hwaseong.
Finally, we spent time in Hwasong Haenggung. It was the largest and most beautiful place for the king to stay away from the palace.
We wish they had a great time for USSUN members and foreign friends.
