Silk Roads Animal: Goat
It should be no surprise that goats are an integral part of pastoralist culture in various corners of the world. Not only do they provide resources such as milk, but also meat for consumption. Indeed, goats play a prominent role along the Silk Roads by providing the aforementioned essentials.
The Silk Roads are a millennium-old trade network that has been benefitted many lives through various forms of trade. This network has been the catalyst for the trade of a variety of textiles and food products. The use of goats has provided these nomads with plenty of the aforementioned resources and continues doing so for many living along this historical trade route.
