: WRICOS 2025-2026

WRICOS aims to, through the medium of language and literature, share "the Beauty of Cultural Diversity" existing along the land and maritime Silk Road and to let people around the world realize how important and valuable it is to restore pride in the Silk Road as a birthplace of civilizations by showcasing "Mutual Understanding" as a key for peaceful coexistence and prosperity of all human beings. It’ll be a great honor of SUN if this event can be a starting point so that SUN could possibly form a never-failing source of realizing the peace of Silk Road area and the richness of mankind. We hope to make WRICOS an annual event showcasing original poems and short essays by student writers on different themes each year.

The theme for WRICOS 2025-2026 is

‘Poem: Voices of the Silk Roads: Bridging Cultures’

‘Essay: What is the most critical challenge threatening the sustainability of modern civilization? Why do you consider this specific challenge to be the most significant?
